Chicanismo: Literary Punk Journal is now accepting submissions for our upcoming issues. We are looking for work that is smart, raw, and defiant. While our roots are in the Chicano experience, our doors are open to all creators who operate with rigorous thought and counterculture energy.We are building a home for the the voices that don’t fit in traditional journals. Whether your work is rooted in heritage, dystopia, or politics, if it has a pulse and a point of view, we want to see it.We are seeking:FICTION: Short stories, flash fiction, and genre-bending prose (up to 5,000 words).POETRY: Traditional forms, free verse, and spoken word transcripts.NON-FICTION: Essays, creative non-fiction, and manifestos on culture, identity, or the underground.ART: Photography, digital art, illustrations, and scans of physical media.MUSIC: Links to original tracks, soundscapes, or experimental audio for our digital features.Submission Guidelines:Deadline: Rolling Submissions (We are always reading).Format: Please submit prose as .doc/.pdf, art as high-res .jpg/.png, and music via Streaming Link/MP3.Eligibility: Open to all.
